2008 (Greensboro, NC) Long-time District 7610 Chair Jon
Allan was elected by district electors to the Zone 33
RLI Board position vacated by retiring Board Member Bob
Stallworth during the RLI Annual Meeting on May 18,
2008 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Also, District 7750
Chair Bert
Strange was appointed by the Board to the vacant South
Carolina State Chair position, created upon the retirement
of long-time State Chair and former Charter Executive
Committee Member Sue
Poss.
The appointment was announced by
RLI Board Chair Bevin
Wall, following the new Board's first meeting held
immediately after the conclusion of the Annual Meeting and
Faculty Training event held at the Greensboro Airport
Marriott.
2008-09 Board Officers were also
announced with Bevin
Wall being retained as Board Chair, Glenn
Hood, new Board Vice-Chair, Jon
Allan as new Board Secretary, and Mary
Dean as new Board Treasurer. The Board is rounded out
by Immediate Past Vice-Chair Ron
Ferrill, Bill
Boyd, Pam
Wall (Faculty Trainer), and RI Director-Elect Eric
Adamson (Immediate Past
Chair).
Bert
Strange joins the four returning State Coordinators Bob
Stinson, Bill
Wilson, Abe
Clymer, and Dave
Cavender.
